At the end of October 2023, I had the pleasure of enjoying a truly fantastic week in a small, select group, led by Leon.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Sardinia in late autumn. The main tourist crowds have passed, and the weather is absolutely perfect for motorcycling. The Hotel La Bitta in Arbatax offered everything and more to allow us to enjoy the week as a holiday in addition to the riding.
Leon is not only a top-notch motorcyclist, but he also knows the island extremely well! He guided our group perfectly over the five days of riding. Each day, he tailored the itinerary to the needs of the group, whether on- or off-road, and to our individual wishes. The four of us simply wanted to experience everything the island has to offer: roads, off-road trails, abandoned places, top spots, cafes and bars in small towns, simple but delicious lunches… All in all, the week was a resounding success. I myself am not a particularly skilled enduro rider. Therefore, I was quite happy to have rented a Honda Africa Twin from Leon. It's just so easy to get around on. It pulls you up steep hills over scree with serene ease – it really helped me.
